Lined up left to right are some of the world's finest athletes: Janos Dalmati from Hungary (#453), Christoph Hohne representing East Germany (#330), Raul Gonzalez proudly representing Mexico (#639), Kiss Antal also from Hungary (#459), Gerhard Weidner and Horst-Rudiger Magnor both proudly wearing West German colors (#407 and #380 respectively). These determined competitors showcased their exceptional endurance as they embarked on this grueling challenge. Weidner, displaying remarkable strength and resilience, pushed himself to finish an impressive sixth place. Hohne demonstrated his unwavering determination by securing a commendable fourteenth position, while Magnor valiantly crossed the line in sixteenth place. Gonzalez fought hard throughout this demanding event, earning him a respectable twentieth spot. Dalmati exhibited great fortitude as he persevered through every step of this arduous walk, ultimately finishing twenty-second. Lastly, Kiss displayed immense courage and perseverance as he completed his journey with an admirable twenty-sixth place.
