They Have Chosen Farming As A Career: There are a number of girls taking the 12 months course in farming and horticulture at the Surrey County Council Farm Institute at Merrist Wood, near Guildford. 45 students, men and girls, on the 430 acre farm are learning milk production, cattle management, vet science, botany, zoology, bee keeping.
